A classic long sleeve hand dyed with marigold, quebracho rojo wood, and madder root. Made by people in El Salvador for Fruit of the Loom as a Small. 16” wide x 24” long. 100% cotton.
All clothing is unisex. We recommend measuring a shirt you own as a reference for finding the best size for your comfort. Not all “Larges” are the same exact size, as manufacturers of items vary. If you don't have a measuring device, a standard piece of printing paper can work as a rough guide, as they are 8.5” x 11”.
Care: Our products are embedded with living plant dyes and will change with you over time. Round Trip pieces are treated and dyed with great care to be lightfast and washfast. Even so, long exposure to sunlight, harsh soaps, and hot water will change your items' colors faster. The best way to keep your items from fading is to hand wash them in cold water, with a gentle soap. Pieces can also be machine washed in cold water on the delicate cycle from time to time. Acidic or citrus fruit soaps can change the pH of your pieces and shift colors towards warmer shades so using a pH neutral soap is best. Ironing items after they dry works great at getting the cotton back to a smooth finish. Store away from direct sunlight when not in use to preserve colors as well.
A note on skin sensitivity: I use only biodegradable, non-toxic, planet safe soaps and fabric softeners to make sure our fabrics are safe for all skin types (our favorite is 7th generation products). While it is very rare, some people find mullein irritating to the skin. Our other plant dyes have almost no record of allergies but do please make sure you are not allergic to any of these plants before using our textiles on your own skin.
