This vintage jacket is embellished with a walnut ink illustration of flowers printed on upcycled cotton that has been dyed with indigo and quebracho. The shorter sleeve cut inspired an upcycled scrap lace cuff dyed in logwood to make the sleeves a little longer.
100% of the sales of this jacket ($120) will be donated directly the to Ute Land Trust to honor and give back to the people who lived on this land before my ancestors came.
"The Ute Land Trust (ULT) was established in 2018 by the Business Committee of the Ute Indian Tribe to assist in the healing of the deep wounds left by the injustice of the violent removal of the Ute Indian Tribe from ancestral lands in Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona." learn more at utelandtrust.org
